PLUTO x OTHERSHIP Present: CO-CONNECT
Pluto, Toronto's leading member-driven fourth space and social hub in Corktown, offers CO-CONNECT, a curated matchmaking experience to help people find meaningful relationships.
This special edition is done in partnership with Othership to bring together members of both communities for an evening of conversation, sauna, cold plunges, and connection.
Co-create, co-learn, co-work, co-regulate, co-play, co-relate.
Inside any thriving community are relationships waiting to happen. Collaborators who haven’t met yet, learning partners who share the same curiosity, ride-or-dies who support one another, and maybe even someone who could change your life.
CO-CONNECT is a curated evening designed to help people discover those connections.
Before the event, participants will complete a short application sharing a bit about themselves and selecting up to three connection intentions most relevant to their life right now:
• Co-Create — build something together
• Co-Learn — grow intellectually or spiritually
• Co-Work — career alignment, mentorship, skill share
• Co-Regulate — support, grounding, friendship
• Co-Play — adventures, fun, and shared experiences
• Co-Relate — deeper romantic or intimate connection
Based on these intentions (and a little behind-the-scenes Pluto magic), you'll be curated into a series of conversation matches throughout the evening.
You won’t know exactly why you were matched with someone, only that something in your intentions and stories aligned.
Each round gives you time to sit somewhere cozy, get to know the other person, and see what emerges.
Maybe you discover a collaborator.
Maybe a friend.
Maybe a new adventure partner.
Maybe something entirely unexpected.
And if the conversation ends there - that’s perfectly welcome too.
The goal is simple:
To create the conditions where the right conversations can happen.
How It Works // TL;DR
Fill out a short application before the event.
Create an Othership account.
Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early.
Arrive with your swimsuit, an open mind + well hydrated.
Receive your Connection Card.
Participate in three curated conversation rounds.
Flow through the sauna and cold plunge experience with each of your matches.
Return to the Tea Lounge after each round, where you can continue your conversation or simply relax until your next curated connection begins.
