The Missing Reps: What's Actually Standing in Youth's Way
Join us for a candid conversation on youth development, opportunity gaps, and the practical pathways that help the next generation thrive.
In this Fireside Chat, we sit down with Seth Aye Win to unpack his editorial on what he calls a "shortage of fit": the widening gap between traditional education and the human-centric skills that AI-driven roles now demand. If technical training is no longer enough, what are young professionals actually missing? And where do they get the reps to build critical judgment and adaptability before the job requires it?
Seth is the Founder of Foundry, a competence development and verification ecosystem bridging the gap between academic preparation and professional reality. After a career in business development, logistics, FMCG, and operations across Myanmar, Thailand, and Singapore, he saw the same pattern again and again: graduates with strong credentials who struggled to exercise judgment, take ownership, and adapt on the job. Foundry is his answer. Seth is based in Bangkok and holds an MBA from Assumption University.
The conversation will be moderated by Mike Miguel, Managing Partner at The Envoy Global.
