The Hardware Meetup community is excited to announce the 113th NY Hardware Meetup at 10xBeta, focused on health technology.
Hardware Meetups happen across 30+ cities around the world, bringing together hardware professionals to network and learn from each other. You might not realize it, but NYC is a hotbed for this kind of innovation and tonight you'll meet two companies working at the cutting edge of this technology.

SPEAKERS
Marcel Botha is a product development leader with 20 years of experience across medical and consumer devices, sustainable industrial systems, automotive, and construction technologies. He specializes in building agile, high-performing innovation teams to drive new product development and commercialization. As CEO of 10XBeta, he has led collaborations with governments, corporations, startups, and investors. Marcel has also founded and invested in multiple companies spanning diagnostics, drug delivery, mobility, sensing, and consumer applications. His most recent focus has been on building 10Xbeta's Venture Studio to lead Health Tech innovation in New York.
Mirek Martincik is a mechanical engineer based in NYC who joined the BCI start-up Ctrl-Labs in 2018 (acquired by Meta in 2020). He has been helping mature the hardware behind the underlying sEMG sensing technology ever since, culminating in the recent release of the Meta Neutral Band.
