Intellectual Property 101
Room: A-202
UCLA Technology Development Group and the Entrepreneur Association (EA) at the Anderson School of Management present Intellectual Property 101. This session is designed to provide a high-level overview of patent and trademark law, including an understanding of your rights, the processes for obtaining patents and trademarks, key timelines, and strategies for effectively leveraging intellectual property.
The presentation will also offer foundational guidance to help teams develop an intellectual property strategy as part of their business plans in advance of the deadlines for the Knapp Competition and the Cross-Campus Innovation Challenge.
For in-person attendees, we encourage networking to support team formation and collaboration. For those on the waitlist, we plan to provide access to a live-stream link via Zoom. Please register with your UCLA Anderson or UCLA email.
