MIT Media Lab roundtable in Palo Alto, CA: AI Agents + Agentic Web, Monday Aug 3rd, 4pm-7pm
Join us for an exclusive, invitation-only MIT Media Lab event exploring the frontiers of AI agents and the agentic web. Hosted by MIT Media Lab researchers alongside industry leaders and innovators, this workshop brings together 30 forward-thinking executives and builders to examine how autonomous agents are reshaping technology, business, and human-computer interaction.
Across four interactive, facilitated roundtables led by MIT Media Lab faculty and researchers, participants will engage in candid discussions on the technical architectures, emerging opportunities, and real-world deployment of agentic AI systems.
Final schedule and panelists are subject to change.

Ramesh Raskar is an Associate Professor at the MIT Media Lab, where he leads NANDA to build open infrastructure for the Agentic Web. His research focuses on open protocols, machine identity, and trust mechanisms that enable autonomous AI agents to discover, negotiate, and transact across platforms. He holds over 100 patents and has received major honors including the Lemelson-MIT Prize, the ACM SIGGRAPH Achievement Award, and election to the National Academy of Inventors. Additionally, he has led research initiatives with major technology companies, including Google [X], Apple, and Facebook.
Paul Liang is an Assistant Professor at MIT's Media Lab and EECS, where he leads the Multisensory Intelligence research group. His work focuses on foundational multimodal AI architectures that integrate vision, language, audio, and physical senses to build capable autonomous agents. He investigates the core scaling principles of multi-agent and agentic systems to understand how controlled configurations drive cooperative performance. Ultimately, his research aims to develop trustworthy, multisensory AI systems that enhance human capability and foster true human-AI symbiosis.
Pradyumna Chari is a researcher at the MIT Media Lab where he contributes as a lead researcher on NANDA to build open infrastructure for the Agentic Web. His research spans decentralized AI agent discovery protocols, 3D computer vision using Gaussian Splatting, and physics-guided computational imaging. His academic achievements have earned him top honors from IIT Madras—including the President of India Prize and Gold Medal—alongside a UCLA Graduate Dean's Scholars Award and a Cisco PhD Fellowship.
Rahul Todkar is the CEO of Nasiko and former VP and Head of Data & AI at Tripadvisor. He previously served as Head of Go-to-Market Data Science at LinkedIn and held executive analytics leadership at Charles Schwab & Co. Earlier in his career, he led analytics and data science teams at Intuit, eBay, PayPal, and Capital One. He remains actively involved in the AI community, collaborating on emerging agentic AI ecosystems and enterprise data strategy.
