A Day of Meditation & Fire Ceremony is an alcohol-, cannabis-, and substance-free event. This event happens rain or shine.
A message from Panoka:
We invite you to join us as we welcome the shift into the magnificent colors of autumn, grounding ourselves into our Earth Mother and embracing the healing energy of the Fire and the darkness of the Moon Mother.
The Day
The Day of Meditation will be divided into three offerings. You are welcome to join us for the entire day or for any portion of it.
We will begin the day by greeting the Sun in silence, spoken word, and song.
From there, we will move to the Cedar Circle and Peace Pole, flowing from silent meditation into meditation led by both music and spoken word. Fresh and dried fruit, nuts, and nourishing tea will be offered.
Our midday meditation will continue in the same manner in the Oak Opening.
A light, shared evening feast will follow.
At dusk, we will gather in the Ceremony Grove of the First Woods for fireside drumming and guided conversation. A silent Fire Meditation Ceremony will continue through the night, carrying us toward the New Day, when we will gather to share what we have learned from the silence, the darkness, and the energy of the Fire.

Traditional Dress
In keeping with traditional ways, women are asked to wear long skirts with shoulders covered. Men are asked to wear long pants and a modest shirt.
Things to Bring
Your Love Offering and Good Vibrations
A small, meaningful item to place on one of the altars
A yoga mat, rug, or blanket for sitting during meditation
A reusable drinking container. Please, no plastic bottles.
A healthy dish to share for the evening feast, along with your own place setting or “feast bundle” (Plate/bowl + silverware)
A small camp chair or blanket for the fireside ceremony, if desired
Things to Know
We love dogs; however, in keeping with traditional ways, we ask that you please keep yours at home.
Limited primitive overnight camping may be available upon request.
The colors will be out by the road.
