Interfaith Engagement at HLS with Getzel Davis and Abby McElroy

​Join the Presidential Initiative on Interfaith Engagement for this training on creating campus spaces where all students feel seen, respected, and able to fully participate across religious, spiritual, and ethical traditions. Led by Rabbi Getzel Davis and Abby McElroy, this session invites staff, faculty, and student leaders to move beyond assumptions and learn how to proactively ask thoughtful questions about time, food, space, scheduling, and other needs.

​Grounded in approaches to interfaith community building and dialogue, the session centers relationship-building across difference as a key strategy for fostering belonging. Participants will develop practical skills for anticipating student needs, engaging across lines of religious and ethical diversity, and cultivating pluralistic campus environments without needing to be an expert in every tradition.
