​​​Join us for Spectrum Strong Parents, a supportive community for families navigating the autism spectrum together in partnership with AFF ( Autism Family Friends). This parent support group meets once a month at The Cove Indoor Play - a safe and fun space for kids while parents connect.

​Transitioning into Kindergarten / School

​Transitioning from preschool or childcare into school can be particularly challenging for parents and their children when extra supports are required. Additional care is needed to ensure a smooth process and understand how to navigate the school system. Our guest speaker, Heather Beach from Family Support Institute (FSI), will discuss all things regarding school prep and what parents of preschoolers and kindergarteners can expect during those first months of Kindergarten.

​Reminder: We will have childminding available during the meeting. Our lovely volunteers will keep your kiddo(s) company in the play space while you attend the meeting in the other room. Please remember to purchase the 'Parent ticket w/ Playpass' if you decide to bring the family.
