Ancient Wisdom for Modern Life - Teachings of Lalitha Devi | New Jersey
The Lalitā Sahasranāma is a sacred hymn of one thousand names of Śrī Lalitā Devī, the Divine Mother worshipped in the Śrīvidyā tradition. Each name reveals an aspect of Her nature, from boundless compassion and protective grace to wisdom, strength, abundance, and the highest spiritual realization.
In this special gathering, we will chant the Lalitā Sahasranāma collectively with a shared saṅkalpa for the peace, prosperity, protection, harmony, and well-being of every participant and their family. When many voices unite in prayer with one sacred intention, the chanting becomes both a personal offering and a collective invocation for grace.
The program will also include a discourse by Guru Sri Chaitanya on Lalitā Devī and the deeper meaning of the Sahasranāma. Guruji will illuminate the wisdom concealed within these thousand names, their place in Śrīvidyā, and their relevance to the challenges and responsibilities of modern life.
Revered as “Śrīvidyārṇava Guru,” Guru Sri Chaitanya is a Śrīvidyā teacher rooted in the traditional Guru Śiṣya Paramparā. His teachings bring the profound philosophy and spiritual practices of the Divine Mother tradition into a form that is clear, practical, and accessible to contemporary seekers.
All are welcome to attend the discourse and join the chanting. No previous experience with the Lalitā Sahasranāma or Śrīvidyā is required.
