Longevity Month: Lifestyle Track

Lifestyle Experiments: Daily Habits × Body Data for Longevity

Lifestyle itself is an ongoing body experiment that each of us conducts every single day.

What we eat, how we exercise, when we sleep, how we respond to stress, what time of day we feel most energized, and when we are most fatigued — these seemingly ordinary daily choices accumulate over time and deeply influence our metabolic health, cognitive performance, emotional stability, recovery capacity, and overall healthspan.

In the Lifestyle Experiment Track, we hope to place these daily habits into a more open and observable experimental environment: combining dietary logging, exercise practices, sleep observation, mood tracking, wearable devices, CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring), AI analysis, and community collaboration to explore the relationship between “everyday lifestyle” and “modern body data.”

This is not simply a health check-in challenge, nor is it intended to prove that one specific diet or exercise method is universally effective. Instead, it is a one-month longevity experiment journey:

You may join as a participant, or become an experiment initiator by designing a study around a lifestyle question that interests you. You may also begin by joining workshops and Longevity Month activities provided by the organizers — covering nutrition, exercise, sleep, emotional management, and more — to find teammates, methods, and inspiration.

What We Can Help You With

  1. Assist in designing research protocols

  2. Match and form research groups

  3. Organize mentorship and progress reviews

  4. Support result documentation and presentations

Core Themes

Experiment Requirements

Each lifestyle experiment should clearly define the following four aspects during team formation and proposal submission:

A Clear Lifestyle Theme

Experiments should focus on a specific lifestyle-related question, such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, emotional states, circadian rhythm, post-meal activity, caffeine intake, alcohol consumption, meditation, focus, or fatigue recovery.

Examples:

  • How do different breakfasts affect blood glucose and concentration?

  • Can a 15-minute walk after meals improve postprandial glucose fluctuations?

  • Does sleeping before 11 PM improve next-day energy levels?

  • Can strength training improve mood and physical energy?

  • Does a high-protein diet improve satiety and work performance stability?

Open Team Formation

Participants may freely form teams based on shared interests.

Experiment initiators may propose a direction first, or find teammates during kickoff events, workshops, and community discussions. Each team may design a lightweight, executable, and trackable experiment around a specific lifestyle topic.

Clear Experimental Process, Data Recording, and Analysis Methods

Each experiment should specify:

  • What will be done

  • Duration of the experiment

  • Who will participate

  • How daily records will be collected

  • Which tools will be used

  • How results will be analyzed

Possible Data Sources

Subjective Records

  • Self-rating forms

  • Daily lifestyle journals

  • Food photos

Wearable Device Data

  • Exercise records

  • Sleep records

  • Heart rate HRV step counts

  • CGM glucose data

Assessment Scales

  • Mood and stress ratings

  • Energy, focus, and satiety scores

  • Lightweight cognitive tests

Concrete Deliverables

At the end of the experiment, teams should produce shareable outcomes, such as:

  • Personal lifestyle observation reports

  • Group experiment summaries

  • Nutrition and glucose variation charts

  • Sleep and mental-state trend graphs

  • Exercise and recovery data trajectories

  • Emotion and lifestyle correlation maps

  • Data visualizations

  • On-site presentations

  • Field notes

  • Next-stage lifestyle optimization plans
