Future Film: Jonah Oskow + Intro to 3D in the AI Pipeline

​This week we’re excited to welcome back Jonah Oskow, one of our original members and someone who has consistently brought some of the most useful, hands-on teaching to the group. Jonah has a real gift for breaking down complex tools in a way that feels approachable, and he’s always been incredibly generous with his knowledge. He’s an experienced comedy editor turned director with deep technical skills.

​Jonah will be giving an intro-level session on using Meshy to generate 3D models and bringing them cleanly into After Effects, along with a look at how basic 3D tracking works inside AE. This is designed to be accessible, especially for editors and creators who are curious about 3D but don’t consider themselves VFX people.

​We’ll also leave plenty of time for questions and for anyone who has new work they’d like to show. As always, sharing works-in-progress or experiments is welcome.
