Picnic in the Park: Celebrating 2 Years of VU NYC 🥳
​Two years ago we ran our first Volunteering Untapped NYC volunteer event. Since then we've shown up across four boroughs with a different nonprofit every month, and we're celebrating with a picnic in Central Park.
​Come hang in Sheep Meadow on Sunday, May 17.

​We are along the south side along the fence of Sheep's meadow between the rocks and hill.

​No agenda, no program, just a casual afternoon with the people who've made VU what it is.
​Who this is for: Everyone who's ever shown up to a VU event. And anyone who's been curious about VU but hasn't made it out yet. Come meet the crew, no volunteering required.
​What to bring:
​A blanket (we won't have enough for everyone unfortuately)
​Games if you've got them: football, Spikeball, frisbee, cards, whatever you'd play in the park (totally optional)
​A snack or drink to share if you feel like it (totally optional)
​What VU is bringing: Some snacks, some drinks, and a couple of surprises for the 2-year mark.
​Where exactly: Sheep Meadow, south, left-hand side as you enter. Look for the VU sign!
