​The LAVA team is in Addis to meet founders, operators, researchers, and investors who are building at the edges of finance, trust, energy, and AI in frontier markets.

​LAVA is an operator-led Venture Capital firm that invests in founders building Africa’s finance and trust infrastructures. We write $100k-$500k checks in early stage startups, and write regularly on what we are learning.
