​Breaking Bread with Friends is an invite-only, intimate dinner for women and non-binary folks working across creative fields. The vibe is living room dinner with friends, and everyone is invited to bring a treat to share.

​For the June Breakfast, Erika is teaming up with Ilana Kruger to co-host. We're gathering builders and creative leaders who've done the work to establish themselves and now find themselves between chapters: launching something new after going in-house, changing direction after years in one industry, or moving through a personal shift that's changing how they show up in their work.

​About your co-hosts

​Erika Velazquez Alpern is a fractional CMO and the founder of Tactile, a studio for forward-thinking brands and builders. Through her work across consulting and community building, she aims to help creative leaders build better. Her clients past and present include Dieux, The Boston Globe, Eddie AI, FACE Stockholm, Argent, Pipcorn, and more. Prior to consulting, Erika was a marketing executive at Morning Brew, New Stand, The New Republic, and The Guardian.

​Ilana Kruger is a brand strategist and the founder of Dripkit Coffee, a single-serve coffee brand she built through partnerships with Ace Hotel, La Colombe, and Verve Coffee before its acquisition. Her clients have ranged from Netflix, where she managed the launch of As Ever, the lifestyle brand from Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to smaller brands looking for help finding product-market fit. She's currently working with founders on brand, partnerships, and operations, and quietly building toward something new of her own.
