Bringing Awareness Across The United States
Bringing Awareness Across the United States
Join us as we come together to bring awareness to Veteran suicide across the United States. This will be our 6th year hosting this special event, and each year we are honored to see more people, communities, and organizations become involved.
There are many ways to participate! You can walk, run, ride, bike, hike, swim, dive, base jump, boat, or take part in just about any activity you can think of. The important thing is that, together, we are helping bring attention and awareness to an issue that affects so many Veterans, their families, and their communities.
No matter how you choose to participate, we encourage you to take photos and share your experience with us. We would love to hear about your event, including where it took place, what you did, how many people participated, and how your event went. Every photo, every mile, every activity, and every person involved helps us spread awareness even further.
This event began six years ago as a way to honor and remember a local Veteran who lost his life to suicide. What started as one effort to remember one Hero has grown into an opportunity for people across the country to come together for a much greater purpose.
Today, we invite you to participate in honor of any Fallen Hero we have lost to suicide—someone who fought a battle within that ultimately became too difficult to overcome. You may participate in memory of a family member, friend, fellow Veteran, or any Hero whose story deserves to be remembered.
Together, we can honor their memory, support their families, start important conversations, and continue Bringing Awareness Across the United States.
No matter where you are. No matter how you participate. Every effort matters. Every Hero matters.
Join us and help make a difference—one step, one mile, one activity, and one voice at a time.
