OUR FLAGSHIP EVENT - LEGAL LOUNGE FRANKFURT, SEPTEMBER 18, FRANKFURT - Powered by Dentons
On 18 September 2026, we will host our annual flagship event in Frankfurt am Main - our most significant gathering of the year. The event will bring together foreign-trained lawyers, German legal professionals, academics, policymakers, and diversity advocates for an evening of inspiration, learning, networking, exchange, and actionable dialogue.
1. A central feature of the programme is a Keynote panel discussion on the theme:
"Using Policy to Shape a More Internationally Competitive Legal Sector in Germany: The Journey Towards the Recognition of Cross-border Legal Qualifications."
This panel will examine the legislative, institutional, and structural levers available to drive meaningful change — and what bold, forward-thinking policy can achieve in opening Germany's legal profession to greater diversity and inclusion, as well as offer insights into a pathway for change and recognition of international legal qualifications.
2. Breakout Sessions: Two important lounges have been set up on international legal topics in the field of International Arbitration and Data and AI Governance.
Our Arbitration Lounge will be held from 11:30 - 14:00 at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer's office in Frankfurt, doors open at 11:30 am.
Our Data and AI Governance Lounge will be held during the main event at Dentons' Office in Frankfurt. Doors open at 13:00.
Attendees are free to choose which breakout lounge to attend. It is also possible to attend both breakout lounges.
