Pale Dot

​Pale Dot is a game about a crew of non-human cosmonauts embarking on a whimsical, surreal, and existential journey through their solar system. It's heavily inspired by media like Outer Wilds, No Man's Sky, Annihilation, and the musings of Carl Sagan. It's a GM-less improvisational narrative focused experience borrowing from games like Fall of Magic and those using the Belonging Outside Belonging framework. 

​There is no set scenario. Players will collaborate at the table to create a unique alien culture and their homeworld then subsequently envelope them in a cosmic mystery that can only be solved by venturing into the unknown.

​From the maker: I'm Devin (they/them) and I'm the creator of Pale Dot. I make and enjoy games that are eclectic, eccentric, absurd, and often surreal. Whether I'm designing games or running them, I like to facilitate collaborative and emergent storytelling, the type that is wilder than anything any one person could have come up with on their own.
