MoonDAO 2026 Election: Nomination Deadline

​MoonDAO may be the only space program on Earth governed by and for the people. Our community votes on leadership, projects, and direction.

Pablo Moncada-Larrotiz's first term concludes on August 1. He is eligible to run for re-election, our constitution limits executive leads to two-terms. Any MoonDAO member (vMOONEY holder) may nominate someone they believe would serve the DAO well. There is no formal eligibility requirement beyond Senate approval.

• ​Candidate Announcement: July 17

• ​Community Q&A Townhall: July 23

• ​Member House Vote: July 24–31

• ​New Term Begins: August 1

​How to Nominate

Post in ⁠Discord 🗳│election with the candidate's name and a brief statement of support. Nominees must publicly confirm their candidacy. All nominees are reviewed and must be approved by the Senate before going to a Member House vote.

If no candidates are nominated or approved, or if the community selects "none," the seat remains vacant — a valid outcome under our Constitution.

We'll hold a live community Q&A with the candidate(s) on July 23. Mark your calendar.
