Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living (MBCL)

Free online session with Dominic Cogan

Wednesday August 6th 7:30 - 8:30pm on Zoom

This one hour session will be an opportunity for experiencing directly a couple of the compassion based meditation practices featured in the 8 week MBCL course. In addition, some of the key themes will be introduced which include learning why offering both ourselves and others compassion can be more complicated than we might realise. You can attend this session as a stand-alone mini-workshop without any obligation to sign up for the full course which starts on August 18th.

You can also attend this session to learn more about the course and to decide whether it is something that might be of benefit to you. Some of the benefits of attending the course and engaging actively with the daily practices include:

  • Learning additional ways to deal more effectively with the unavoidable stresses of life

  • Establishing a healthier balance between caring for others and ourselves

  • Building in sustainable ways to cultivate greater kindness and harmony in both personal and work relationships

  • Using insights from science to better understand how our emotional systems are wired and how we can better regulate our own emotions
