From McKinsey to building a startup
Every year, a few hundred people with a McKinsey background choose to build a company of their own.
Who it's for: McKinsey alumni who are founders today, and alumni seriously considering it.
X26 is the community for ex-McKinsey founders. Join us for a panel discussion and drinks from four founders with very different paths
Jeremy Palmer: Former Chairman and CEO of QuantumBlack, Senior Partner at McKinsey and, now Senior Advisor to PhysicsX and various AI related startups. Before QB, he was Chairman and CEO of UBS in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Reece Griffiths: Founder of Deasy Labs (YC S23), backed by Bessemer and General Catalyst and acquired by Collibra in under two years. Before that, he spent three years at McKinsey and QuantumBlack.
Ed Bramwell: Former McKinsey London consultant and Entrepreneur First alum. He founded a fintech and is now building his second startup, at the intersection of AI and financial services.
After the panel there will be drinks and a light buffet, with time to meet the panel and other alumni who are building, investing, or planning their next step.
