Here & Now is Kanso's flagship phone-free social experience.
part guided facilitation, part free-flow, designed around the neuroscience of real human connection.
we're taking over the beautiful outdoor patio at FourFiveSix, a cocktail bar in Brooklyn, with a live jazz band setting the tone all night.
what to expect
you'll arrive, check your phone at the door, and receive the present: a journal, pen, and conversation prompts to carry you through the night.
the opening is structured. we'll pair you up with someone new for a real, ten-minute conversation, then again with someone different. just two people, one prompt, and enough time to cut past the bs and actually get to know someone.
then the room opens up and takes its own shape from there before closing out together.
live jazz in the background, a station to write thank you cards, to yourself and to the people who matter most, and the opportunity for serendipity and chance that you simply don't get from a normal night out.
good people, good drinks (NA included), live music, completely present and undistracted.
who's in the room
people who care deeply about how they spend their time and who they spend it with. they're actively working on their career, their health, their relationships.
they know their screen time is the one thing they haven't figured out yet. not because they don't see it, but because the phone is also the tool that gets them ahead.
they're always on. tonight they're not. most come alone.
