StoryTell For The Girls: The Road Less Traveled

Join StoryTell for a special storytelling gathering celebrating womanhood and the different paths we've taken in life. Through conversation and personal storytelling we will build a sense of togetherness, empathy, and inspiration of the unique journeys we've taken in our lives.
The theme for this gathering is “The Road Less Traveled”. We will be reflecting on the choices we've made for ourselves that challenged societal expectations. In a world that often tries to put women in boxes, we want to explore how you carved your own path by taking the “road less traveled".
What does "the road less traveled" mean to you? Have you felt pressure from society or your culture to fit into a certain mold? How did you handle that pressure and choose your own path? What are some important lessons you’ve learned from going against the grain?
What to expect:
🗣️ Part conversation! We'll get to know each other and then break into small groups to have an in-depth discussion on the theme.
📖 Part storytelling! Feeling inspired by our conversations? Have a story to share? We'll be sharing true, personal stories about your road less traveled. This is a low-stakes opportunity to share your story with a warm, open community in a "slumber party stories" setting.
Stories are optional, open to anyone, and are limited to 5-7 minutes.
❤️ All girlhood. Come to build in-person relationships through vulnerability, courage, and shared experience. You'll meet new open-minded, curious galpals through deeper, intentional connection.
This special evening is intended to give women a safe and shared space to cultivate connection, empathy, and belonging with one another. Come cozy — sweats, hoodies, and fuzzy socks are recommended.
