UK: Founders Raising Families
OPUS x Now Often Always
What works, what doesn't, and how to be your best self through it all
Building a company is all-consuming. So is raising a family. Most founders are told to pick a lane, or quietly told nothing at all, and then left to work it out alone, between school runs and board meetings.
Join OPUS & Now Often Always for a coffee morning and honest panel about what actually works, what quietly doesn't, and how to stay recognisably yourself through both.
📅 Saturday November 7 | 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
📍 The Arding Rooms
Over coffee at The Arding Rooms, we'll hear from founders and operators who are doing it right now - not the tidy version, but the real one: the trade-offs they've made, the systems that held, the ones that fell apart, and what they'd tell themselves three years ago.
We'll get into:
The logistics that actually hold - childcare, co-founder cover, and what to build in before you need it
Guilt, in both directions, and what to do with it
Telling your team, your board, and your investors - how much, and when
Rebuilding capacity after leave, and returning as a changed operator
Protecting the parts of yourself that aren't "founder" or "parent"
Then we'll open up the discussion - a proper group conversation where you can ask anything, share what's working, and meet the people going through the same thing.
Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation you don't get to have anywhere else.
Children welcome. RSVP now to join us!
Tickets are £10 - secure yours now for a Saturday coffee morning, done the OPUS way.
