Signature Gathering at Free Bike Repair Clinic with SVBC & Bike Sunnyvale
Join us to gather signatures for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!
We will meet at the Free Bike Repair Clinic co-hosted by Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition, Bike Sunnyvale, and Sunnyvale Public Library. It will be at the picnic tables at the north end of the park behind the Columbia Neighborhood Center.
Training first-time signature gatherer training, petition distribution, and signature gathering will be from 10:00am to 2pm.
Everyone is welcome to be there for the whole time (strongly encouraged!) or just pop by to help for a bit, get packets & training so you can collect signatures at a later time (and return your completed petition packets another day).
To see the most friendly faces and to join the group training session, get there at the start time. But if you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones.
RSVP to get updates before or during the event, and to help us bring enough supplies.
No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you're under 18, let us know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!
