Volume: An Exploration Of Mathematics
Among mathematical concepts, volume stands out by seeing a lot of use in everyday life. So it must be pretty straightforward, right? Around 8 years ago, a YouTube video triggered a personal revelation: I understood volume far less well than I thought I did. This will be a recounting of the rabbit hole I subsequently fell into, ultimately leading to one of the biggest mathematical mysteries of the 20th century.
This talk is designed to be accessible to a general audience with no particular mathematical training.
