Kōjaku Studio Membership This membership is an opportunity to build a regular calligraphy practice, deepen your understanding of the art, and enjoy the simple pleasure of writing with a brush and ink. Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or continuing an existing practice, you are welcome to join at your own pace. Membership includes unlimited access to all monthly sessions, including: ⬩ Teacher-Guided Practice: Develop fundamental techniques and receive guidance and feedback in a small group setting. ⬩ Open Practice: Practise independently in a supportive environment, with space to refine your work and explore your own interests. ⬩ Zagaku (Study Sessions): Discover the history, culture, aesthetics, and stories behind Japanese calligraphy and kanji. ⬩ Artistic Flow: Explore creativity and self-expression through reflective and experimental brushwork. Each session is 90 minutes long, giving you time to learn, practise, ask questions, and connect with others. The sessions are designed to offer different doorways into the world of Japanese calligraphy. Through technique, culture, reflection, and artistic exploration, you will have opportunities to discover your own meaningful relationship with this art form. Come as often as you like, and enjoy the journey of learning, creating, and connecting through Japanese calligraphy. About Us Kōjaku Studio is a Japanese calligraphy studio in An Phu, Ho Chi Minh City, and a welcoming space to explore Japanese calligraphy through practice, learning, and creative expression. Our intention is to create a community where we share the quiet ritual of writing with a brush and ink while nurturing creativity, curiosity, and playfulness. It is a space to slow down, enjoy moments of stillness, and reconnect with yourself through the act of writing.
