Burning Man: Newbie Orientation

​Heading to Burning Man for the first time? Or ready for a refresh before returning home?

​Join us for a Newbie Orientation, happening live on Zoom and inside BurnerSphere. We’ll start by walking you through the digital dust to get you oriented and ready for the physical dust. Experience the layout of Black Rock City firsthand, learning where all the essential city services are located — Center Camp, Ice, Artery, Playa Info, Rangers, and Medical — so you arrive already knowing your way around.

​We’ll walk through everything you need to know to prepare for the playa, from packing essentials and desert survival to how to fully participate in Black Rock City. All the items that make for a fully participatory playa experience are explained in detail, and packing lists are provided to make sure you’re ready for whatever the desert brings.

​Throughout the entire Orientation, you are invited to ask questions, share ideas, and tap into the collective wisdom of the community around you.
