NS Sailing! Beginners and Pros

​We're coming back with sailing practice this week! The afternoon session - more wind.

​Join us for a hands-on sailing practice session designed for Network School members who are new to sailing or want to refresh their basics.

​We’ll start on shore with an introduction to sailing fundamentals — understanding wind direction, rig setup, and basic maneuvers — before heading out onto the water to put our skills into action. A safety boat will accompany the group, and life vests will be provided.

​The RM 300 fee is to cover the instructor and boat rental costs. Pro Sailors pay less as they don't need an instructor.

​Note: payment is in cash or Malaysian QR transfer

​This session is open to:

• ​🧭 6 beginners (with a dedicated coach)

• ​⛵ 4 experienced sailor (who may sail solo)

​Expect to get wet — boats may flip, but you’ll be coached on how to right them easily.

​What to bring:

• ​Water bottle

• ​Long-sleeve UV top (sun is strong - better to have them, but not a must)

• ​UV sunscreen and a hat

• ​Shorts and a T-shirt are perfect attire

• ​Sailing or workout gloves (optional but helpful)

​Whether you’re completely new or already comfortable on the water, this will be a relaxed, fun afternoon of learning, teamwork, and wind-powered adventure.
