AI, Research, and Design: Afterwork Conversations (NYC)
Bi-Weekly Conversations for Designers and Builders
New York has talent everywhere, but we rarely slow down long enough to think together.
I’m Felipe, founder of an AI-driven research platform. I’m starting a small, in-person community for UX, Product, and Experience designers in NYC.
The goal is simple: to create a consistent space where we can meet, share, question, and learn from each other.
There will be no panels, no pitches, and no performative networking. Just honest, grounded conversations about what we are actually dealing with in our work.
What we’ll explore
Every two weeks, we’ll gather around one guiding theme. Topics may include:
UX research that truly changes product decisions
Designing for emotional signals, not just metrics
Where confidence breaks in critical journeys
AI in research and product work: what’s useful vs. what’s noise
Working inside teams that do not always understand design
The themes will evolve with the group.
Format
Bi-weekly afterwork session
Small-group conversation
Informal setting
One guiding theme per session
Drinks optional, thinking required
Who this is for
This is for designers and researchers who want to go beyond surface-level conversations and learn from peers who are building in the real world.
Why limited seats
We are keeping it small to make it human and interactive, and to ensure everyone has space to speak. We’ll start with a small group and grow intentionally.
Registration is required so we can plan logistics in advance, including wine or drinks. Approval is enabled.
