​Join us for an exciting end-of-year adventure! We're heading to Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary for a guided hike through the forest to the stunning Waterfall Trail. This is your chance to connect with nature, recharge, and wrap up the year on a refreshing note with your colleagues.

​Event Details:

• ​Meet at Christex Foundation at 9AM Prompt for bus take-off to Tacugama.

• ​Hike Location: Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary (Hike to the Waterfall Trail)

• ​Duration: 1–3 hours (hiking trail and waterfall)

• ​Post-Hike Lunch: At Grand Leone Restaurant

What to Expect:

• ​🌳 A scenic guided hike through the forest led by a ranger.

• ​🍽️ Delicious meal at Grand Leone to end the day.

​Important Notes:

• ​No chimp sightings are part of the hike as it takes place outside the sanctuary, within the national park.

• ​Only staff members who register through this invitation will be eligible to join.

​What to Bring/Wear:

• ​👕 Comfortable hiking clothes (lightweight and breathable).

• ​👟 Sturdy hiking shoes with good grip.

• ​🧢 A hat and sunscreen for sun protection.

• ​💧 Water bottle to stay hydrated.

• ​🦟 Insect repellent for comfort in the forest.
