Dev Tools and Version Control | Engineering Workshop | Week 2

​This is the second session of our 8 week Web Development Workshop series. This week, we'll dive into essential web development tools. We'll explore powerful software that will enhance your development experience and introduce you to version control and GitHub.

​Topics covered:

• ​Introduction to code editors (focusing on Visual Studio Code)

• ​Leveraging browser developer tools for debugging and optimization

• ​Basic command line usage for efficient development workflows

• ​Introduction to Git for version control

• ​Creating and cloning repositories on GitHub

​This hands-on session will require a laptop (A laptop will be provided if you don't have one).

​This workshop is designed for beginners who either attended Week 1 or have a basic understanding of web concepts. As always, this workshop is FREE to attend.
