Over the past year, Gertrud and Pam have been working to implement and scale Journey Management within a service design-mature, yet product-centric organization, navigating the natural tension between journey-based and product-based ways of working. Along the way, they have worked across a complex portfolio, a growing ecosystem of solutions, and competing priorities to create alignment around customer journeys.

In this session, they will share their learnings, successes, challenges, and key lessons, offering a candid perspective on the realities of embedding Journey Management in a complex organization.

​About the guest speaker

​Pamela Leon Loreto is a Senior Service Designer with Laerdal Medical and is based in Stavanger, Norway.

She currently is co-leading the implementation and scaling of journey management practices within a global healthcare education and quality improvement organization, helping teams align around customer needs and turn insights into action. Her work focuses on strategy, organizational change, facilitation, and customer-centered ways of working. Pamela is passionate about helping practitioners and teams develop the capabilities needed to deliver better customer outcomes.

Gertrud Høgh Rasmussen is a Senior Service Designer and Strategist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Currently leading the implementation and scaling of journey management in Laerdal Medical, her work focuses on enabling the company to better prioritize work around and for improving experiences, across a complex portfolio. She is keen on making customer outcomes measurable, surfacing the gaps between goals and experience to guide smarter prioritization.
