How We Try to Make a DifferenceAn EACH × ESS Networking Evening

​Lives and careers are rarely linear. The ways people try to contribute to the world — through giving, careers, projects, research, or community building — tend to evolve over time, and we think there's real value in staying connected across those different paths.

​Together with Effektiv Spenden Schweiz (ESS), we're hosting an evening for people who think seriously about impact. The core topic is effective giving — one of the most accessible and practical ways to have a positive effect on the world — but we're equally excited to bring together people who are exploring impact through other angles: their work, their projects, or their plans for the future.

​How the evening will run

​Erik (EACH) and Philipp (ESS) will open with a short moderated introduction round, so everyone has the chance to share a bit about themselves, their motivations, and what they're currently working on or thinking about. That's the starting point for the more informal conversations over drinks and snacks.

​We will begin the evening with a short introduction to “Give and Gather”, a new giving community that our long-time donor Cyrill is currently building.

​A few days before the event, we'll share the exact venue and send out a few prompts to help you prepare your short self-introduction and reflect on what you'd like to bring to the conversation.
