Shay Gal is the Founder & Principal of Line of State and former Vice President of External Relations at the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), following his service as Chief of Staff to its chairman. Earlier, he was Senior Adviser to Israel's Minister of Economy and Industry.

​About the Session:

​A principal can make a decision without making it executable. Authority may be dispersed, incentives misaligned, resources uncertain and critical disagreements left unresolved. Drawing on experience in government and at Israel Aerospace Industries, Shay Gal will lead an interactive roundtable on the Chief of Staff’s role in closing the gap between executive intent and institutional action.

​In this roundtable, participants will make a consequential decision by addressing five questions:

• ​Who has authority?

• ​Whose cooperation is essential?

• ​What resources are committed?

• ​Where can execution stall?

• ​What does the principal need to hear before acting?

​Participants will leave with a concise decision brief and an escalation plan they can adapt to their own leadership team.
