Vegan Game Night Supporting Alex Bores!

​Join the vegans and animal advocates in NYC for a fun night of (vegan) snacks, board games, and social bonding! We will also spend some time thinking about how to get more support for animal welfare in Congress by supporting Alex Bores in the upcoming democratic primary in NY-12.

Here are some reasons why we support Alex:
1. He led a budget letter to establish an alt protein research center in NY. He also introduced several other bills, including the PETS Act (which helps discourage live animal testing), A10676 (which makes it so that failing to provide shelter for animals is considered cruelty), A03330 (which prevents live fish bait from being imported into NY), and has supported several bills banning cruel hunting practices.
2. He’s a vegetarian.
3. The people I know who take animal rights very seriously think he's the real deal, and The Animal Voters and the New York League of Conservation Voters endorse him.

Please bring extra games if you have any!

Note: Please bring a laptop if you have one. During the event, we will take time to contact friends in the district about voting for Alex, and a laptop will make this easier.
