Module 1: Being the Ground: Leveraging the Anchored, Aligned, Accountable Framework™ for self-leadership
This Extended Learning Module invites coaches to leverage the Anchored, Aligned, Accountable Framework™ for self-application to heighten coaches' awareness of their own inner landscape, biases, stealth intentions, and stealth beliefs.
Anchored into their own values, while balancing the shadow side of values.
What gets in the way of honoring our values? (10 derailers outlined in the book and exploration of others.)
Identification of alignment between their actions and behaviors and values
Self-accountability for the impact of their behaviors and actions.
Recognize how a coach’s failure to be anchored, aligned and accountable could limit the coaching alliance and coach impact.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify their true north based on two identified values and supporting behaviors, reflecting:
implicit and explicit boundaries
measurement of belonging needs
frame for effective decision making
anticipation of activation points
- Excavate beliefs, narratives, and behaviors they hold and assess how:
they serve and/or limit them
impact their coaching alliance
- Identify the shadow side of values, particularly when their values are breached.
- Identify an idea, behavior, or experience in this seminar to continue building awareness through ongoing practice.
Via case studies from Anchored, Aligned, Accountable, coaches will recognize power dynamics, proxies for power, and their own power. Attendees are required to read Anchored, Aligned, Accountable in advance of attending the session.
