About Event

This session is open to all: whether you are part of our Community of Practice or just curious about a more purposeful and participatory approach to membership, join us for an hour of inspiration and peer learning.

We're excited to say our speaker for this session will be Gina Koutsika, Director of Audiences and Content at Oxford University's Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology (Britain's first public museum!).

Gina is an absolute powerhouse of engagement in cultural institutions, having previously led teams at many of the country's leading museums. Prior to this role, Gina was the Director of the Young V&A, leading its transformation from the Museum of Childhood to the Young V&A. Previously, she led Exhibitions, Commercial Events and Programming at Kew Gardens, and headed up Partnerships and Engagement for the Imperial War Museums, including the First World War Centenary. Before that she was Head of Interpretation, Exhibitions and Learning at the Tate, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum.

Gina will share five key lessons for those looking to increase and improve member participation in their organisation.
