The Psychology Futures Summit is designed to be an engaging, hands-on experience for Grade 11 and 12 high school students and first-year undergraduate students who are curious about psychology, mental health, neuroscience, and the many careers connected to these fields. No previous psychology courses or experience are required.
Here is what you can expect on the day:
🧠 Interactive psychology activities and discussions, including a Build-a-Study Challenge where you will work with other students to create your own psychology research study and compete for prizes
🎓 University and organization booths with representatives ready to answer your questions about programs, research, and opportunities
🤝 Opportunities to meet other students and connect with people studying and working in psychology
🎙️ A Psych Expert Panel exploring different education and career paths in psychology and related fields
🍕 Lunch and refreshments, giveaways, and prizes throughout the event, including a grand prize valued at approximately $200.
Whether you already plan to study psychology or are just starting to explore your options, this summit is for you. We hope you leave with a better understanding of what psychology has to offer and what your next steps could look like.
