​Write to Vote: Postcards to Voters

​Join fellow Climate Reality Cape Fear volunteers for an evening of community and civic action.

​This is a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote effort. We're not telling anyone who to vote for—just reminding our neighbors that voting matters, especially for the important decisions that shape our coast.

​What happens when you sign up

​When you register, you'll get instructions for picking up your voter postcard packet ahead of the event. Each packet includes:

• ​20 blank postcards

• ​3 sample messages to choose from (or mix and match in your own words)

• ​A list of names and addresses to write to: real neighbors in our area

​During the call

​We'll hop on Zoom together for 1.5 hours, chat, and hand-write our 20 postcards as a group. Bring your own pen and a beverage, and we'll provide the company and the encouragement.

​After the call

​Postage is on you (a postcard stamp is $0.65), and we're asking everyone to drop their finished postcards in the mail by October 2, 2026, so they reach voters with plenty of time before early voting starts on October 15.
