As part of Open Source Day 2026, India’s largest open source conference, this workshop will immerse participants in the world of decentralized technologies. You’ll explore how blockchain works, what makes smart contracts powerful, and how Chainlink, the leading decentralized oracle network, enables smart contracts to securely interact with real-world data.
Through guided demos, collaborative exercises, and live coding, you’ll go from understanding the fundamentals to deploying your own smart contracts — powered by Chainlink services such as price feeds and automation tools.
Whether you’re a beginner curious about blockchain or a developer ready to experiment with real use cases, this session will give you the skills and confidence to start building in Web3.

Basic understanding of programming and Web2 technologies
Familiarity with Python or JavaScript is helpful
Please bring your laptop — this is a fully hands-on session using AI agent frameworks and smart contract automation
