THE CLEAN BEAUTY SUMMIT

One day. Four working sessions. Real industry access — including a session with Jessica Trieber, VP of Brands at Credo Beauty.

You've been piecing this together alone for too long.

You've watched the webinars. Downloaded the checklists. Maybe hired a consultant who charged you too much and delivered too little.

You still don't have a clear roadmap. You still don't know who to trust. And every decision — pricing, packaging, positioning, manufacturing — feels like it could cost you everything if you get it wrong.

That's not a you problem. That's an industry problem.

The clean beauty industry is fragmented, gatekept, and full of people who profit from your confusion. Nobody is teaching founders how this actually works — from formulation to financials to getting on a retailer's radar.

The Clean Beauty CEO Summit was built to change that.

This is not a conference. It's a working day.

No panels. No passive note-taking. No vague inspiration you forget by Tuesday.

This is a full-day, hands-on bootcamp for early-stage clean beauty founders — designed so you leave with real deliverables, real clarity, and real industry contacts in your hands.

By 5:30pm on May 18, you will have:

✅ A completed brand positioning statement — clear, specific, differentiated

✅ Your real product costs and contribution margins calculated

✅ A timeline mapped from chemist outreach to first production run

✅ A 90-day CEO action plan — Month 1, 2, and 3 mapped out

✅ A vetted founder resource guide with pre-screened contacts for contract manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and packaging partners — saving you months of research and thousands in wrong-fit hires

Who's in the room with you

Amy Galper — Your co-host and founder of the Clean Beauty CEO Start & Scale Accelerator. Two decades in clean beauty. Co-author of two bestselling books on aromatherapy and clean beauty. Founder of New York's first professional-level aromatherapy school. She's built brands, certified thousands of practitioners, and has been inside this industry longer than most of your favorite brands have existed.

Mark Broussard — Award-winning cosmetic chemist, co-host, and founder of Desert in Bloom Cosmetics Lab. His formulas have won Oprah's MenOPause Award, Elle Best Of, and dozens of others. He's developed over 600 products for indie beauty brands and knows exactly where founders waste money in the lab — and how to stop it.

Jessica Trieber, VP of Brands — Credo Beauty — Credo is the most respected clean beauty retailer in the country. Jessica has held brand leadership roles at Fenty Beauty, TULA, Ole Henriksen, and Elizabeth Arden. She'll tell you directly: what makes a brand shelf-ready, what red flags get a founder ignored, and what pricing, packaging, and founder behavior actually gets Credo's attention. This is access most founders never get.

Tom Santagato — E-commerce financial strategist and founder of FourThree. Formerly on Wall Street. He'll walk you through contribution margins, customer acquisition costs, and the payback window traps that quietly sink most DTC beauty brands — so you know your numbers before you spend another dollar.

Maris Moore — Triple-certified TikTok Shop Partner and founder of OverCast Digital. She'll show you how clean beauty founders are building community-driven sales on TikTok Shop — without massive followings, paid ads, or losing their voice.

What we cover — and what you actually do

9:30am — Brand Positioning & Messaging With Amy Galper Why passion is not positioning. Why vague wellness language costs you customers. How to define exactly who you serve, what problem you solve, and what makes your brand impossible to confuse with anyone else's.

→ Breakout #1: Brand Positioning Lab You write your positioning statement. You leave with it done.

11:00am — Financial Workshop: Know Your Numbers With Tom Santagato Contribution margins. Customer acquisition costs. First-purchase profitability. Average order value. The payback window. This is the math most founders avoid — and why most brands stall before they scale.

→ Breakout #2: CEO Numbers Map You calculate your actual margins and acquisition costs using your real product idea.

1:30pm — Product Development & Manufacturing With Mark Broussard How to write a product brief that doesn't waste a chemist's time. Formula ownership. Clean standards literacy (Credo Clean, Sephora Clean, Ulta Conscious Beauty). MOQ strategy for small brands. Red flags in manufacturing contracts. What actually slows down production — and how to avoid it.

→ Breakout #3: Production Timeline Map You map your path from lab to first production run.

3:00pm — TikTok Shop & Ethical Selling With Maris Moore Why a beautiful website isn't a sales strategy. How community-first visibility works for indie brands. How to sell without performing.

4:00pm — Fireside Chat: Retail Strategy: What Credo Actually Looks For With Jessica Trieber, VP of Brands — Credo Beauty Shelf-ready brand requirements. Packaging expectations. Pricing realities. The founder behaviors that get brands noticed — and the ones that get them rejected. This session alone is worth the price of your ticket.

→ Breakout #4: 90-Day CEO Action Plan With Amy Galper and Mark Broussard You map Month 1, Month 2, and Month 3. You leave with a concrete execution plan, not a wish list.

What you take home

The Founder Resource Guide — A curated directory of 12 vetted industry partners including contract manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and packaging sources. These are pre-screened contacts compiled specifically for early-stage clean beauty founders. Not a Google search. Not a cold lead. Real, founder-friendly companies who know what small brands need.

BONUS #1 — Guided Suppliers' Day at NYSCC Javits Center

May 19, 2026 — The day after the summit. Optional, but serious founders won't skip this.

The NYSCC Suppliers' Day is the largest North American trade show for cosmetic ingredients and personal care innovation — nearly 700 exhibitors, 11,000+ industry professionals, and the full landscape of suppliers, manufacturers, and emerging ingredient technologies in one building.

For a new founder, it's also completely overwhelming to navigate alone.

Summit attendees have the option to join Amy Galper for a guided walk of the trade show floor — with a clear lens on what actually matters for early-stage brands:

  • How to evaluate ingredient suppliers before you commit

  • What questions to ask contract manufacturers in person

  • How to identify packaging partners who work with small MOQs

  • What emerging ingredients are shaping clean beauty right now

  • How to leave with useful contacts instead of a tote bag full of brochures

This is a rare opportunity. Most founders spend years trying to get access to what you'll walk into the morning after the summit.

When you register, you'll receive the option to RSVP for the guided Suppliers' Day visit.

BONUS #2 — MOCRA Compliance Video Class

Yours to keep. Watch after the summit.

The Modernization of Cosmetic Regulations Act changed the compliance landscape for every beauty brand in the US — and most founders don't know what it requires of them.

You'll receive access to a recorded video class that walks you through exactly what MOCRA means for your brand: what's required, what the deadlines are, and how to stay compliant without a lawyer on retainer.

This is not optional knowledge. Compliance is the foundation every product decision sits on.

Is this summit right for you?

You're exactly who this was built for if:

  • You have a clean beauty product idea — or a product you're already making — and you're ready to build it into a real brand

  • You're pre-launch or early-launch stage and need a clear, trustworthy roadmap

  • You're tired of piecing together advice from too many conflicting sources

  • You're ready to work, not just listen

This isn't the right fit if:

  • You're looking for a done-for-you service or someone to build your brand for you

  • You're not ready to make real decisions about your brand direction

We want every founder in the room to be ready to do the work.
