This climate (and budget) friendly gift swap will connect you to like-minded creative professionals celebrating a sustainable holiday season.

​Don't let old presents and purchases you've never used just sit in a corner of your closet, or spend all your money (and earth resources) on brand new gifts for everyone you love. In the spirit of zero-waste, buy-nothing groups, and a commitment to repurposing, reusing, and renewing, let's get together and swap some new-to-you items that we can regift to ourselves and loved ones! We will have hot cocoa, hot tea, and extra blankets available to stay cozy, you're welcome to bring your own blanket and mug to help us keep this event low waste :)

​Whether you're a seasoned climate advocate or just beginning your journey, this gathering is a casual meetup and an incredible opportunity to connect with like-minded allies who share your passion for addressing the urgent challenge of climate change.

The location for this event features a 360 view of our city from the top of the hill at Barnsdall Art Park, in front of architect Frank Lloyd Wright's Hollyhock House, a Unesco World Heritage site.

METRO: (B) Red Line - Vermont & Sunset Station - 7 min walk to Barnsdall Art Park. There are two parking areas at Barnsdall, top and bottom of the hill. Carpool if you can!

​Chapters Week is a quarterly event that takes place around the world. Along with Climate Designers LA, there are other Climate Designers chapters bringing their design communities together.

​You all are participating in a global event series happening this week alongside fellow designers from around the world to learn, share, and connect with one another.

​Our climate emergency affects every city, town, and region differently. This is why we need to learn about the climate organizations and policies in our area so that we know what’s going on and how we can help. This is key to ensuring creatives can step up and use their talents in supporting these efforts.
