​We get together and pick complicated or confusing topics, then discuss them! Resolving confusions and getting clarity is really important, but we fear that focusing on having clarity causes people to shy away from recognising or admitting what they’re confused about. It’s far too easy to pretend we understand a topic and ignore that nagging feeling that there’s something slightly amiss. That’s a shame, so these dinners are an invitation to embrace and investigate confusions, revisiting familiar ideas with fresh eyes to uncover intriguing details. We want this to be a relaxed, open space where people can pitch crazy ideas and ask questions they might not feel comfortable asking in more formal contexts.
