The Liberal Future of Zimbabwe

​The Liberal Future of Zimbabwe is a one-day youth engagement program scheduled for Tuesday, 27 October 2026, in Harare. The event aims to bring together approximately 30 young people, including university students, young entrepreneurs, student leaders, emerging civil society leaders and young professionals, to explore how liberal principles can contribute to Zimbabwe’s political, economic and social development. The five-hour program will introduce participants to the foundations of liberalism, individual liberty, economic freedom, free markets, property rights, entrepreneurship, the rule of law and accountable governance. Through presentations by three speakers, interactive discussions, networking and group activities, participants will examine the challenges facing young Zimbabweans and develop practical, citizen-driven solutions.
