Canvassing for Cait Conley in NY-17 Tarrytown, NY via Metro North

​Join us as we travel via Metro North to Tarrytown to canvass for Democrat Cait Conley who is running to unseat MAGA Republican Mike Lawler in New York’s 17th Congressional District, as Democrats seek to flip the US House and Senate! We’ll cover round trip train tickets and food after we canvass.

​We’ll meet at Grand Central at 12:00pm, take the 12:25 train to Tarrytown arriving at 1:18, canvass until 5:00pm, then gather for happy hour at Bridge View Tavern, which is a 5-minute walk from the Tarrytown train station.

​Cait Conley is a fourth-generation Hudson Valley native and West Point graduate who served 16 years as an active-duty Army officer, earning three Bronze Stars. She became one of the first women officers to serve on the tactical side of a Special Operations unit. After leaving the military, she continued her public service as Director for Counterterrorism on the National Security Council and later as a senior advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where she led election security efforts. She holds master's degrees from both MIT and Harvard's Kennedy School. Cait is running on lowering costs through increased housing supply and infrastructure investment, and bringing the same problem-solving leadership that defined her military and national security career to Congress.
