Build-Your-Own Adult Summer Camp Afternoon #1
THE SERIES
A secret park, TTC-adjacent location revealed Saturday morning via Luma + email. $10–15 sliding scale. 18+, no alcohol.
A build-your-own summer camp afternoon in a beautiful Toronto park. Wear colour, gosh darnit.
We're hoping to run these every two weeks through the summer, in different parks across the city. Holidays will shift things, and each one will look different depending on who shows up and what they bring - that's kind of the point. This is event #1

1. WHY
Most weekends happen to us. We scroll, we attend, we leave. Nothing gets made. This is the opposite. One afternoon. One beautiful park. We build a unique day together. Wear something you RARELY wear. Express yo self. Bring things that took thought, not just a stop at the store.
Say YES. Climb cringe mountain. Be chalant. Touch grass. The magic isn't the location or the schedule - it's that YOU showed up. That everyone showed up and made an effort. That's a bet we want to make on you. Come build a day. We believe in your creative spirit.
2. WHAT
Whatever the heck you want it to be! Be a human, g@& damn it.
Make something. Go BIG.
Bring food, bring drink to share for the potluck (no alcohol).
Activities/Things. Bring instruments, art supplies, a weird game, a craft, a costume change. Whatever you want!
Bring a blanket or yoga mat, for loungin'. Overpack. Be generous with your creativity.
Wear something you RARELY wear. YOLO.
NO SCREENS. LOW TECH. NO SPEAKERS. <3
Contribute your piece to a day that exists exactly once, made of whatever we all brought. Can you teach a small group of us how to do something? A skill, a craft, a stretch, a repair, a song, a knot, a recipe, a meditation, a story?
Sign up to be a mini-facilitator on the registration form. The schedule gets built out of what people offer.
Arrive 11am SHARP. It's cool to be on time.
We'll be there until 5pm. When it's over, take everything with you. Leave it like we were never there. Dress up. TRY. It will be amazing if you JUST TRY.
