DisruptHER Commons
DisruptHER Commons is a one-day gathering designed like a village square — a shared space where women leaders can step out of isolation and into community.
Not a conference. Not a marketplace. The commons - where it all happens and where your community gathers.
For one day, everything a woman leader often has to seek out separately — support, clarity, care, structure, visibility — exists together, held by people who understand the work because they’re doing it too.
The Commons
At the center is the Village Square — a place to gather, orient, and return to throughout the day. Around it, a “market” of trusted local providers offering support across five essential areas of leadership:
Health — sustainability, regulation, and real-life care
Style — presence, confidence, and comfort in how you show up
Work — systems, boundaries, hiring, and how work actually functions
Wallet — money clarity without shame or pressure
Brand — voice, messaging, and being seen on your own terms
The day is intentionally open-flow. Move freely. Sit when you need to. Engage deeply where it matters. Return to the square. Leave resourced.
Why this exists
Leadership doesn’t happen in isolation, and neither should support.
DisruptHER Commons was created for women who are building businesses, teams, and lives, and who are looking for something more substantial than surface-level networking or transactional spaces. This is about shared access, mutual support, and keeping resources circulating within our community.
What’s included
Coffee, snacks, and lunch are provided.
Some providers will offer optional paid services or sessions during the day; those are booked and paid directly to the vendors, who keep 100% of that revenue.
Community impact
A portion of all ticket and vendor proceeds supports POPI (People On Purpose Inc.), helping make practical business support more accessible in our region.
Closing the day
We’ll gather one last time in the Village Square to close the Commons — including a raffle for two tickets to the DisrUpstate Leadership Summit and a live reveal of a Summit ticket credit for attendees who stay through the end.
Tickets
General Admission — $55 (includes access, light fare & lunch, and 5 facilitated workshops for Health, Style, Work, Wallet, and Brand)
Supporter Ticket — $100 (includes a POPI contribution and personal/business recognition in the program)
If you’ve been missing a place where women build alongside one another — this is that place.
