About Event

Climate change is already changing the business of sport. Extreme heat, flooding, wildfire smoke and severe weather are disrupting schedules, impacting venues, putting athletes and fans at risk and creating new challenges for organizations across the industry.

Join leaders from Liverpool FC, the NBA, WMO and CAA for a candid conversation about how the sports industry is responding to a changing climate, where adaptation is already happening and what it will take to move from short-term fixes to long-term planning and investment.

From protecting athletes and fans to strengthening venues, infrastructure and the communities that make sport possible, the conversation will explore why investing in climate adaptation is increasingly essential to protecting the future and continued growth of sport.

Featuring:
Rishi Jain, Director of Impact, Liverpool FC
Daniel Kull, Director of Development Partnerships & Program Delivery, WMO
Annie Horn, Associate VP, Sustainability & Inclusion, NBA
Callie Currie, CAA Foundation and Sports Agent
