

Dumpling Making and Meditation
Please join us for an Afternoon of Dumpling Making and Meditation, hosted by Plum Village Makati. We are a meditation group in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.
Come spend a cozy afternoon slowing down, breathing, smiling, and making vegetarian dumplings together. We’ll begin with a short meditation to help us arrive, relax, and settle into the present moment.
Then the fun begins. We’ll prepare vegetarian ingredients, fill wrappers, fold dumplings, and enjoy the simple joy of creating food together as a community. Whether your dumplings turn out beautiful, funny-looking, or somewhere in between, each one is part of the practice. There’s no need to be perfect, just present.
Some parts of the dumpling making will be done in gentle silence, giving us a chance to experience cooking as meditation. Other moments will be light, friendly, and full of connection as we share the process together.
After folding and cooking our dumplings, we’ll sit down to enjoy them with gratitude. We’ll close the afternoon with a relaxed sharing circle, where everyone is welcome to reflect, listen, and share from the heart.
Everyone is warmly welcome. No experience with meditation or dumpling making is needed. There will be a suggested contribution of P250 to help cover ingredients.
