Bits & Pretzels Berlin Community Event #7: Prepare for Bits26
Before heading to Bits & Pretzels in Munich, let’s get together in Berlin for an informal pre-conference community meetup at NLND Neuland.
Attending a major conference is an investment of time, money and attention. This evening is about helping each other get the maximum value out of that investment.
Instead of arriving in Munich and figuring everything out on the spot, we want to prepare as a community: understand what needs to be organised in advance, identify the people and opportunities we are looking for, coordinate side events and meetings, and help each other make the right connections.
Our motto for the evening:
100 eyes see more than two.
If everyone knows what everyone else is looking for, the whole community can help spot relevant investors, customers, partners, founders, events and opportunities.

What you’ll get out of the evening
Prepare before Munich: We’ll share practical tips on what is worth organising now, before opportunities fill up. This includes side events, Table Captains, meetings, conference logistics and other things that are much harder to arrange once you are already in Munich.
Make your objective visible: What would make Bits & Pretzels successful for you? Fundraising, customers, partnerships, hiring, media, meeting specific founders or investors? We want everyone to know what the others are looking for.
Use the community as your extended network: We will collect the participants’ objectives and the introductions or opportunities they are looking for, so the group can actively support one another before and during the conference.
Plan meetings and side events: Bring your calendar and a rough idea of who you want to meet. We’ll coordinate coffee chats, master classes, dinners, side events, informal gatherings and other opportunities in Munich.
Meet the Berlin community before Munich: Get to know the people you will see again at the conference, make introductions early and potentially coordinate travel or other plans together.
Connect beyond Berlin: We also plan to connect with other European Bits & Pretzels communities and ecosystem partners in Munich. This can be especially valuable if you are looking to build business, partnerships or networks in other European cities.
Don’t miss the practical perks: We’ll also share current conference offers and opportunities that are easy to overlook, such as ticket discounts, vouchers, giveaways or community perks, including things like the beer voucher, eToro-related ticket offers or the LinkedIn T-shirt promotion where applicable.
And of course, we plan to meet again during the conference in Munich, including a Berlin Community get-together and a group photo.
